I am still plugging away at the March block - the ladies at my girl's dance class have had a good time watching me work on this one over the last few weeks. Dance is where I do most of my hand work anymore because it is the only 2 hour block of time I have a week where I don't have anything else to do, lol. Anyway, They have seen all stages - I was trying to lay out the peices at their first class of the month (and grumbling up a storm while I tried to figure out the tangled mess
), the next week I had the basket down and was working between the handle and the left most stems (and continuing to grumble, lol
) Last week I was a little further along then realized I had messed up and had to unstitch a bunch
. The other ladies there are just amazed with this process though, and the first question I get anymore when I go in is "So where are you now on that flower quilt??" I only two more stems to go now, plus the star on the basket and I am done, so maybe I will get it this week. I can't wait to move on to the April block and be back on schedule.
