TOPIC: February BOM picture posted

Nancy, Bridget, and Maggie, your blocks all look great! I am loving how different they all are.

I got sidetracked with scholarship applications and such (and that is very important because if dd doesn't get some, it will alter my quilting drastically for the next few years  ).....so I had to put my BOM aside for the week, but hopefully I can finish January in the next couple of days. This is so much fun.

Maggie, Bridget, Nancy,

Your Feb blocks look great. I have started on the Jan BOM and working on the stems. Sure would like to catch up and get both done by the of the month. I am enjoying the hand work and also reading about everyone's progress--so inspiring!

I uploaded my February block in my profile. It's getting difficult to decide just where to post these messages. I already put one into another place. oh well

Maggie & Bridget how did you get it done so fast!! I like your choice of fabrics. I don't have enough confidence in choosing fabrics, I bought the kit. I hope to do mine this week and I 'll post when I'm done. Wanda, I'm glad too that Alex is doing the BOM with us. She really makes me feel like family, you all do!

All of us Illinois girls were apparently trapped inside due to the weather and had plenty of time to work on our blocks! Mine is posted on my profile too. Maggie -- I love your vase fabric!

Maggie,

Your block is awesome. I can't believe you are already finished with Feb. I have yet to get started on Jan!

I'm excited about Alex working along with the BOM!

February BOM picture posted 03 Feb 2008 18:04 #13196

I have posted a picture of my Feb BOM on my profile. This one was much easier. Although, I gotta admit, cutting out the gold Star of Davids was pretty sobering. I thought of the "Diary of Anne Frank" and all the people who died in the Holocaust  .
But on a brighter note :D , how many have gold tissue lame in their stash?
And, WOW  !!! Alex is doing the BOM also! How awesome!
