I really love Radiance. It quilts like a dream. It even washes (cold water by hand with woolite), starches (from the back) and irons well. I use prepared for dye Radiance for some of my inked applique work. I have used it for several quilts now and have been very happy with the results. It looks wonderful when it's quilted. Oh, I use wool for the batting with it, which helps it have a nice end result.

Oh yeah, I guess I have heard one thing. The dye colors differ from bolt to bolt. So, if you do a pieced quilt instead of a wholecloth or if you are binding with the Radiance, you need to make sure you get enough ahead of time because it may be noticeable if you don't.

I've used it for smaller wholecloths and didn't have any problems. I thought it quilted like a dream! And, of course, the finished product just shines!! I haven't heard about it being difficult to deal with, so maybe I was just naive and lucky. I do have a larger Radiance wholecloth planned but haven't had time to start on that one yet.

I am renovating my bedroom and i was going to make a whole cloth quilt. I was thinking to use Radiance however I hear mixed reports about how user friendly it is. Has anyone used it ?and do you have any tips that you found along the way.
