I just found it online... There is a search engine here in the United States called Quiltshops. You can access it at
http://www.quiltshops.com and it is a conglomeration of 200+ quilt shops around the country. You search for your fabric and when you find it, you can see which shop has the yardage you need and at what cost. Then you purchase it from the shop you want directly by using this site. Good way to get some deals when you are looking for a fabric you are familiar with. When you search the fabric, the engine will provide you with a thumbnail sketch of the fabric you have searched.
Last week I was looking for a fabric that no one had anymore, except this one little shop in Lake Placid, NY... and two yards became mine in four days.
The particular color I wanted had just been discontinued by Robert Kaufman
