Is there a curved piping in each swag, between the two colors? And, is there one around the medallion in one of your quilts? Or, are we allowed to know these things ahead of time? I will give this a try, as I have never posted a photo in the Forum. My applique is Miss Kelly by Erin Russeck (geoquilter). I fell in love with the pattern months ago, and thought the 2011 BOM would be a great showcase for it. I have had to reduce it down by 25% to fit the 15 1/2 x 15 1/2 center block size, and do some minor changes in order to place it on point. I tested the flower centers first to see if the smaller pattern size was doable for me. It was!!! This is going to be so much fun! Dawn

Absolutely beautiful! Nicely done! And, the quilting is great, too. Let's see, you've made two in two months, and it's going to take us a year to do one? Have you always been an over achiever? LOL (I can say that because I have one daughter and a DH who are!!!) I have pulled and bought all of my fabric. Mine will be in jewel tones, with a different applique in the center. I am super excited, as I have never done a BOM before.

Almost made me change my mind about colors, but my focus fabric arrived today (even prettier than I thought!), and this weekend we'll be heading off to a quilt shop to pick up fabrics to go with it.
