Re: Tired Tuesday 25 Jan 2011 18:04 #54988

Evening,

Well I should be doing something sew-y but not really feelin' it. I should just bite the bullet and finish that darn binding but I'm sick of that too... I have lots of should do's but no want to's. We just got back from Madison visitng with Stacey, her kids and my dad.

Hope everyone has a good night.

My sister asked me to make doggie pads for her new furniture...got them done today... it was kind of hard to concentrate tho.... my mom is in the hospital.... she just turned 89 last week... she has congestive heart failure and pneumonia....they have her in critical care now.... its a hold your breath situation for the next 24 hours... she's a tough lady but I am really worried this time around.

Anyway, here is a pic I took of the doggie pads..... this fabric has been in my stash for years so glad to be able to use it up ... and she said it will match her colors too! :)

Have a good evening all!

I was at a 3 1/2 hour school board meeting that really didn't get anywhere last night. On the bright side I got two PMS blocks sewed together. I found out I have some issues with my 1/4 inch even though I have a 1/4 inch foot. A little frustrating, but I think that once I learn exactly where to put the fabric and mark it with tape all the way down I will get that figured out. I have 3 more to fix and then I will be done with those and back to the blocks for my mom and dad's quilt. Today we have lots of running for the kids and school, then working out, and also a doctor's appointment for my oldest. Should be a busy day, but I am hoping I can still at least get the H blocks sewed together.

Have a great day everyone.
