Good Morning,
It's sunny where I am, but snowing at home. I'll enjoy this beautiful sun for a couple of days. What a treat in the winter.
As for my projects this year, I'll make a list when I get home. Everytime I try to get started there is something else. My days off are frequently running errands or helping my mother or visiting family. One day I'll stay home for me and just sew.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Prayers and hugs for all.

Oh finally it's Friday! I'm not used to working 5 days a week and I don't like it! But it's year end and I want to take a little extra time off early next week, so this is the price I pay. I went to small quilt group last night and took along some embroidery that will end up in a wall hanging. A couple of ladies had finished some really beautiful quilts - one just amazed me and it's the 5th quilt she's made like this - the center is a barn, some animals and I think a tractor and it says "Grandpa's Farm", then surrounding that are blocks with different farm animals in them. It's all appliquéd - I think fused, but it's sooooo cool. She's got one more to make then all of her grandchildren will have one like that. I'm ready to get moving after seeing those great projects! I need to decide my quilting goals for this year - how many UFO's to finish, what new projects to do, etc. I have at least 2 baby quilts I need to make -soon and wedding quilts for 2 of my kids. I'll have to get out my magazines and start going thru them to get ideas for the wedding quilts. Problem is, I have ideas for what dd1 and ddil would like, but is that ok to do for the couple? dd1 and ds each have a quilt I've made them. I don't know, it's a lot to think about. Anyway, I may get into the sewing room tonite - I've got a wall hanging and a table topper just waiting for binding and they can be done!

Hello Friday is right, we have both been sick with colds and finally feeling better, but I do not like having a sick hubby. Off to work in a few minutes and then the sewing room tonight.

Hello Friday! 14 Jan 2011 04:31 #53320

Well, even tho I don't work, I still welcome Fridays! :)

I am still plugging along on this huge irish chain.... it seems to be going so slow.... I had a thought this morning... I am making this quilt for a friend of mine and my neice is getting married in April so must either decide to quit working on this one and start a new one for my neice or continue on this one and give it to my neice and make a different one for my friend! LOL My friend is in no hurry for hers and there is a deadline for my neice... so have a decision to make!

Hope you all have a wonderful Friday!
