GOOD FOR YOU JUDY!! :D
But I make a motion that you put it in a Member Blog so everyone can see how well you've done. Watching Sandy has been such an inspiration for so many of us, now you and I can help with that!
Besides, knowing that people are watching motivates me to stick to the plan!
Keep it up, everyone! How much does a 6-pack of soda weigh???

Way to go Judy!! We are more likely to stick with it if we are eating what we like. We just don't have to eat as much. And exercise.

Good for you, Judy in Lompoc, I guess the answer is cutting portions from all that I have been reading and a little exercise on top of that. Pretty soon you will have lost a bag of potatoes. Judy in AZ

Sandy you are awesome!! Today is my first Friday check in. Drum roll.......I lost 3 pounds since weighing last Friday. Woot Woot! I ate half of what I would normally eat, I still ate what I wanted. That is equal too a can of coffee.

No wonder I'm feeling better. The 32 pounds I have lost is equal to 3 10-pound bags of potatoes and that would be 3 trips to the car to carry them inside. That's a lot of extra baggage I was carrying around.

Look at your weight loss in perspective, For example. Lose 10 pounds = a bag of potatos (usually just as lumpy), 25 pounds= a toddler, 50 pounds= kindergartener, 75 = third grader, 100= larger bag of pootatos ect... When you look at your weight loss this way you not only feel good but you get a good laugh and sense of accomplishment. Don't look at it as anything that looks nicely packaged like flour fat is not neatly packaged.

Sandy remember to keep smiling. :P I know the next few months are going to be really ruff. Especially if you are anything like me. I was jumping on a trampoline and riding a bike the day before my accident. Afterward it took me over a year to just be able to walk around the block :!: I know that doesn't sound encouraging. BUT :!: DON'T GIVE UP ON YOURSELF :!: :!: :!: Yes it will take a while to recoup but it will happen. I should have pushed myself harder :? Hind sight is always 20/20. I guess what I am saying is only you and God can decide what your limits are. Yes I get down every now and then but show me who doesn't. Just when your down try not to find the trigger foods. Buy a quilt magazine with the money and use your imagination :D

Great job, SAndy!! Enjoy that happy feeling all day!! You have been working hard and deserve to enjoy the rewards...namely, smaller pants! I'm just back from an hour walk at the YMCA. First time in a long time I've walked with my old walking buddy and, boy, does she keep me moving! If I had been by myself I would have quit after 1/2 an hour but not with her urging us onward. A full hour at a faster clip than I usually do too. Now in to the shower and work on controlling the calorie intake all day. Sally in threatening rain NE Ohio
