Hi everyone! G Street Fabrics in Rockville, Maryland, has undertaken to exhibit most of my quilts over the next several months in their store. This exhibit is in two parts...part one will be in the Bernina section starting next Monday 24 April. Part two starts in mid July and runs through August. I wrote a little
blog post about it all. It's very exciting for me and I am grateful to G Street for their doing this for me. G Street seems to me to be coming back strongly after having closed its two stores in Virginia, much to my chagrin, and moving from its more glamorous store in Rockville to its current store. In many ways, I think the new store, which has a bit of a warehouse atmospherics about it, is actually very interesting and has wonderful classrooms set up well for its ongoing classes. I will be teaching a class in June on quilting there. It's already filled. What a nice thing for them to do for me! If you are anywhere nearby, or are passing through, I encourage you to go see the store. Piles of interesting fabrics, everything from quilting to home dec, an excellent buttons and other embellishments section, and the Bernina section is really wonderful. Cheers everyone!
