I can't give you any advice whatsoever, but I can wish you all the luck in the world. Good for you! The quilting world needs to see your work!

That website with the list is a great resource. Has she been doing that a while? I'll check out AQS site too.

The one I'm working on now will be tricky figuring out what category it will fit into. You'll see what I mean when it's done.

Thanks Janet.

AQS now has 7 different shows. Check out their website, as I am pretty sure each show has different categories. I know the AQS Des Moines show specifically has an art quilt category. MQX has a couple great shows focusing on machine quilting. Houston has several art quilt categories where all quilts must be original designs. I'm sure your quilts would fit in most wall quilt categories in most shows. NQA also is a great show with lots of categories. Although they don't give cash prizes, you will get a great judging critique. I'm sure I am missing some, but just enter one! Your work is beautiful!

I've got a competition quilt in process. Hoping to have it ready for next year. Want to do the show circuit, but am unsure of where all are the must shows to enter.

Give you an idea of the type of quilting I do let me try and describe. I tend to do Art quilts, sometimes dye painted, but always heavily quilted.

Can you give me a recommendation of shows I must try? Houston International Quilt Show is on the list for sure.

Thanks, Clara
