Is anyone going to attend session 2 of the Empty Spools seminars this year? The teachers are Esterita Austin, Jenny Bowker, Carol Bryer Fallert, Rayna Gillman, Gloria Loughman, Judy Niemeyer, Lonni Rossi, Jill Schumacher, Elly Sienkiewicz, and Mary Lou Weidman. My friend Lorna (paisley queen), who I met at Empty Spools in 2009, wanted to go to session 2 to attend Jill's machine quilting class, so I had the delicious challenge of picking from all of these wonderful teachers. After much indecision, I picked Jenny Bowker's class. I'm hoping she'll bring some of the tentmaker of Cairo quilts with her because I'd love to see those in person, and unless I win the AQS give-away, I won't make it to Paducah this year.
