I answered my own question. I sent an e-mail to you on your profile site. Hope this works. Terrina

I think this info would be better on personal e-mail. Is there a way to use private e-mail on the Quilt Show site. Terrina

I'm so glad you've written. I posted this on the MMQShow FB page and they said there are restaurants within walking distance of the center/hotel. But also said it depends on what I call "good". Yikes!! I'm not picky but would love a place to get either a good burger or steak. :)

On Weds I have class from 10 - 12 and then 1 - 5. I forget when everything starts then for the show that night. I am hoping to pack a lunch for both Tues & Weds. Probably Tues night I'll try a hotel restaurant and then hit the pool. :)

It's a drive to area restaurants because the hotel is fairly isolated. Since there is a 2 hour delay between most classes I would be glad to help you find lunch to fit your dietary needs. I understand how it is to be in a city without resources. Terrina

I have special food needs so have thought I'd bring at least a day's worth of food and hope my cooler w/ ice stays cold. :) I wondered about the options around town. I'm staying in the hotel so hope those restaurants are tolerable. Thanks for the heads up!!

The food in the food kiosks is very expensive and not many alternatives in the neighborhood. This year I will bring a light lunch with me. It looks like (on the schedule) that the vendors will not be open until 5PM on Wednesday. Terrina

Thanks for posting! I am surprised there aren't more here that are going. I'm also full on Weds, the 10th. I think it will be fun and topped off with opening night! :) I'm telling myself that I really have to watch the purchases with this show! The hotel and classes are lots!!

I've submitted my registration for classes for Milwaukee's show in August. Just wondered if anyone here is going. Are you taking classes? I'm there Tues - Thursday. If you'd want to meet for supper sometime, that would be fun!
