At any rate, Marcia (foxrunquilter) and I (fabrikath) will be at the show on Saturday and Sunday. You gotta love California restaurants on a Friday night....Famous Daves won't take reservations and 6pm is a busy busy time for them....but the manager assures me if we go at 5pm we will have no long time to wait.....having said that I will go over there earlier than 5pm and commandeer a table or 2 and be there waiting for the hungry quilters to join me. Does this sound like a good idea? It seems that no place in the vicinity does reservations unless you are over 20+ people. I know there will be tired, sore feet and the need to sit, have some food and unwind from all the excitement of the day at the show...Let me know at the meet and greet on Friday at 1pm if you are planning to have BBQ with the rest of us then when I go over I can have them set up just what we need.

I haven't decided if we're going to be there on Sunday yet... A 'grown-up' day at Disneyland is calling (I don't get there much without the kids)... ANYway, I am looking forward to seeing you all at Road2Ca. -Tina

Anyone going to the Road2Ca show who would like to join up with other TQS members for a delicious dinner at Famous Dave's BBQ on Friday night just let me know at the meet & greet or here on the Forum. If you like BBQ this is a good place to get messy and enjoy good food.

We will meet about 6pm. From the Convention Center: Turn on N. Vineyard Ave going towards the mountains, make a right on to E. 4th St. It is about 3 miles . Restaurant is on the left side so you will have to U-turn at Gurnee Ave and back track to Dave's!
