TOPIC: Libby Lehman 2009 Quilt Legend Show

02 Jan 2010 09:38 #41743

I loved this show. Libby is truly an amazing quilter. I got to met her at the Ocala superseminar and talked with her during breakfast. She is the same in person as on the show. I sure would like to know where she got the 'ironing' table. That is awesome! I've been trying to figure out a new set up for ironing and loved hers. I checked her teaching schedule and would love to go to one of her courses. New goal set. Sandi in FL

Libby makes everything look so easy! Her quilts are beautiful and I'm going to have to try some of her methods. Another great show, TQS! Judy in Torrance

Great show!!!! I am sooooo behind on watching the shows and decided to catch this one while working in my quilt studio recently! WOW! I haven't been to one of Libby's classes before, but will make that I priority in the future - what a super lady and talented artist!

I'm very excited because my dear DIL and I managed to get into Libby's threadplay class at the Mid-Atlantic Quilt Festival in late February. I'm really looking forward to it and I really enjoyed seeing the show that introduced us to her life a bit. Imagine being so organized! Wow! So Alex, did you remember to give her back the gold thread? I thought it was fascinating that she saw immediately the threads were out of place and one was missing.

I just love Libby! I met her at a Super Seminar in Glens Falls, NY and she is as sweet and down to earth in person as she is on the show.
I agree, Ricky and Alex do great interviews. I'm so looking forward to the 2010 shows.

Libby Lehman 2009 Quilt Legend Show 22 Dec 2009 00:01 #41362

I just finished watching the 2009 TQS Quilt Legend, Libby Lehman, and enjoyed it very much. Ricky did such a great job talking with both Libby and her mother. He is always so relaxed and "real" which leaves the viewer with the feeling that he or she has just spent some time talking with Libby, too. This is just one of the many reasons why I have been a member of The Quilt Show from day one and continue renewing my membership each year.
