Thank goodness no one was hurt. Deer are so graceful but they sure are dangerous when they get on the roads.

I have to echo what everyone else has said about Paducah. It was great to meet some of you and the quilts were awesome!
We did have a little disaster, though. On the way back to our hotel on Thursday night we hit a deer and crunched up the front end of my van-took the radiator, hood, grill, etc. Had to rent a car to drive home. I will have to drive the 600 miles back to get my van when it is fixed--hopefully sometime this week.
Gotta say, though, the 3 friends who were with me were such good sports and so encouraging. Thankfully no one was hurt. It didn't really spoil our fun too much!

Loved finally meeting some of yall. Paducah was great as always. This was my 15th year. Wow! My youngest son turns 16 tomorrow and I've missed many of his birthdays going to quilt week. Camille

Maggie, Dana, Katzzz,Sandy,SallyB, Margo - What a treat to meet up with everyone in Paducah! I wish we could all have just spent a couple of days together getting to know one another in person. I loved this year's show, but by Friday afternoon I felt like I had overdosed on quilts.
Long drive home today - I can't wait to see all of you again.

Mary Kay

I saw a quilt like your bella quilt it was pretty BUT not as beautiful as yours is! Sure hope you enter yours next year!

Dana's Rapsody quilt is beautiful.

In all honesty I had never been into hand dyes fabrics but now I am, Rickys hand dye fabrics are beautiful and the colors are just so pretty. The color changes are just so gorgeous. I Know they make beautiful quilts. Seeing Ricky's Rapsody quilts in person there all beautiful. I couldn't pick out a favorite because there all
beautiful patterns. I hope to make one some day.

I hope I get to see sweet Eleanor Burns today.

Its impossible to see everything in just afew days!

We are on a mission today also!!!

Ricky & Justin are so very kind they do make you feel like you are apart of the big TQS family.

The Paducah quilt show is awesome.
I found Justin & Ricky's booth Easily. Talk about nice these two gentlemen they are so down to earth so very kind, I was in awe meeting them both,Famous Quilters. You would think I was meeting Elvis Presley. "Kinda of Sorta"!!! They both knew us from the TQS forum. You just know you Love them because they are such good warm people. Justin is just so hugable sweet.

I have to laugh because I knew Justin liked his sunflower seeds and I remember alittle story about him not getting them on one of there road trips. I didn't have any sunflower seeds so I thought I would take them a treat to snack on. Well I like to snack on dry cerials there healthy. I took each Ricky and Justin a baggy full of fruit loops. Ricky says whatcha trying to say! I said I love fruitloops! I meant as a snack. I got tickle afterwards about the joke. Oh My!!! lol. They'll remember the crazy katzzz giving them them fruit loops! It was either fruit loops or honey nut bitz.

What can I say; I Love my fruitloops!!!

WOW on Ricky's Beautiful hand dye fabrics, I Love them all.
I'll be on the mission to buy some more tommorrow! Pete was telling Ricky what he does as a living and talked about his hobby of jeeping/mudding. Pete told Ricky he was also a professional rotary cutter, lol, because he helps me cut my fabrics!

We bought tickets today for the Ricky Tims Concert,Yeah I'm looking forward to this I wish my dad was here to hear him play. Dad plays lots of instruments. I'll let him listen to Rickys Sacred Age cd.

Now I'll have to learn how to dye beautiful fabrics. I bought one of Rickys Rhapsody pattern books but I believe I want to do his one seam flying geese with the beautiful hand dyes,I'll make a Rhapsody quilt some day,I have agreat book with very Nice patterns.

Dana's Rhapsody quilt is Stunning, its a Beauty. I know she will get
a super nice ribbon. I know Ricky & Justin are proud.

I've met alot agreat TQS members.

I never dreamed that there was that many quilters in the world especially in one place. Geesh and there is alot more!!! "Yeah"

PS. I always thought I would always buy the same brand of sewing machine boy...I was wrong. I have my next dream machine picked out!

It's a New Day and agreat Day here in Paducah.

I wish Alex & John could have been here.

Have agreat week everyone.

Hey Everyone! Please try to put together some kind of a TQS name tag to wear for the Meet & Greet! (I am so bad about remembering names!)

There is a pattern available on the Projects link on the top purple bar! Scroll down to the 10th project.

Even if it's just a paper copy, it will help my CRS!
