I've been to Asilomar five times (and I live in Michigan). I missed last year, so I'm especially anxious to be there this year. I'll be at the April session. You don't have to be nervous about Diane Gaudinski - she is as gentle as she is talented, and a very sharing instructor. Just enjoy - and take advantage of the massages that are available to book. Sounds like you will have tense shoulders! I just LOVE Asilomar. I think the only venue that would top it would be Ricky's retreats. I'll be there in the near future, hopefully!

I will be attending Diane Gaudinski's class in Session II, March 1-6. I just about have my quilt top finished for the class project, then I may need to order some thread and just gather my supplies. I am starting to get nervous/excited for the trip!
