Woo-hoo--I'm packed and ready to head off to Hampton in about an hour with Beth. Hope to see lots of you there. I will try to make the 1pm on Thurs, Fri, and Saturday, but I may not be able to make Thurs and Friday cause of classes. I'm excited.

I see from the blogs that HappyCampbell is coming too.

Good Morning Everyone!
The convention center where MAQF is held in Hampton, VA is absolutely a wonderful site compared to what we had in Williamsburg. I suggest that a good meeting place would be on the second floor where there is a large ballroom that serves the buffet lunch every day. I suggest outside the ballroom door on that second floor lobby area. 1pm sounds like a good time too.

Thanks, Patti! I hope I can make it to the show, and if I can, I'll definitely be there for the Meet & Greet!!

Getting closer to MAQF!! Betty Jo, Beth, Janet and Patti, are you still going? Nina, will you be there? Anyone else????? I am trying to get my niece's graduation quilt finished in time so that I can personally deliver it to Norfolk that week-end. Nice coincidence, huh?

I've not been to this show since the venue moved from Williamsburg, so I'm not familiar with the layout. Can someone recommend a convienent meeting place? It seems like 1:00 is getting to be the standard TQS meet and greet time for whomever is available....would that work for everyone? We just need to decide on a location.

OK...I'm headed back to the sewing machine!!! :D

Oh great! I just saw y'all's responses. I tried very hard several times to get into the Embassy Suites that is connected to the show, but they are full. I would love to stay there though. My daughter in law and I are both going. Hope to see you there. We plan to wear our badges. Cheers, Betty Jo

Welcome to the site!
Yes, I go every year to that show too. It is like Quilter's Heaven. I am taking two classes this year and attending a lecture. There are two of us attending that are members of The Quilt Show, Dixlinda and myself. I hope that others will be attending.
We plan on wearing our Quilt Show badges. Hope you all will too.

Hey There,
I will be at Mid-Atlantic too. along with thousands of others. I also can't wait. I've signed up for two classes and one lecture. Usually only take one class and a lecture. My friend and I always stay at the Embassy Suites that is connected to the Convention Center which is a wonderful way to enjoy the show as we can go back and put our feet up whenever we need too. Will plan on wearing a TQS badge to the show so that we can all recognize each other. Hope to see you there!

Are any of you planning to go to the Mid-Atlantic Quilt Festival next late February (in Hampton/Newport News, VA). My DIL (OriNebula) and I are going together and I just wondered if I could finally meet some of my friends I have made across the internet there. I know it's still three months from now, but I'm pretty excited about it.
