To all who went to dinner together on Friday, and especially you, Wanda, -- I apologize!
My sister and I got there at about 6:40 and I checked for a reservation (but unfortunately I never asked what name it would be under -- now how goofy am I!) for a fairly large group at 7PM and I was told there wasn't one . . . I did say TQS as well as Wanda but the reply was the same.
We were so exhausted we went back to the hotel, had some fast food and fell asleep!
Wanda thanks for your help in the Superior Threads booth -- I'm enjoying applique with Alex's Masterpiece!
And Sue! I love the needles you directed me to -- even tho by the time I got home last night (Sat.) I had 2 glasses of wine in me I just couldn't wait to try the thread and those needles -- they are fabulous!
Margo -- I indulged myself in some of the fabric from Denmark that was being sold -- so I have a little more FOLDING! ;o] and of course once the packet of fabric from the next "gorgeous Garman" quilt arrives I'll be folding once again - bwhahaha!
What an unbelievable show -- it's big beyond belief and my credit card is "tired"!!!
Sharon Schamber's quilt is incredible -- it looks like a tapestry!
To the TQS family who exhibited and won ribbons and those that were honored to exhibit -- THANK YOU! what a pleasure to see your quilts up close and personal -- eye candy!
Travel safe to all who are still in the balmy Houston temps!
Diane in Illinois where the weather is definitely colder!
