TOPIC: Mancuso quilt show in Manchester, NH

23 Sep 2008 19:13 #26453

Hi Sue...welcome

Mancuso was a great show as usual. I've been to the Quilters Gathering several times and I've always enjoyed that show as well.
I am not sure if I will be able to make it this year but I sure will try.

Happy Quilting
Sylvia

I saw this topic and thought, this must be where the New Hampshire quilters are hanging out ! :)

Hi to everyone ! This is the 1st year I've missed this show in a long time---just couldn't get to it. Sounds like I missed some beautiful quilts.

I'm planning on going to Quilters' Gathering. I better get in my registration or I'll be missing great teachers.

Nice to meet you all on line !

Sue

Some friends and I will be there from Thurs. night to Mon. morning.

I got into a paper-piecing (patoo-ey) class with Carol Doak. She claims that I will enjoy the process by the time the class is done. I gotta see this!!!!!!!! LOL

I will send you some contact information later...

neen, if things work out I would like to go the 'Quilters Gathering'. I would have liked to sign up for one of the classes. So many great teachers on the schedule. If I am able to go to Nahua I will let you know. Do you know which day you will be attending?

Sylvia, if you can remember (I can't... ) mention it again in the spring. We can make a plan.

Our group's next "gathering" is in Nashua, in about 6 weeks. Do you go to that one, also?

Neen, I plan on being there. I go every year. Although I haven't ventured into machine quilting I hope to do so within the next couple of months.
I hope to see you there.

I "might" make it tomorrow, for a little while. It depends on my toe.

Will you be at MQX, in April, Sylvia? Maybe we will bump into each other then....

Mancuso quilt show in Manchester, NH 18 Sep 2008 20:05 #26248

I went to the Mancuso show today in Manchester, NH. So many beautiful quilts, there were more art quilts this time. My head is spinning with so many ideas! Lots of vendors as usual, I kept my temptation at bay. I didn't take any classes this time, maybe next time!
