I thought a big quilt show like Nashville (and I know it doesn't compare to something like Houston) would intimidate me but there were enough 'I could do that' moments to offset the 'wow I could never do that' moments. There were a couple of very traditional patterns done in colors I would never have chosen that that I kept going back to. Sounds like a great show.

QuiltFest of Jacksonville, FL 08 Sep 2008 07:07 #25715

Is anyone going to QuiltFest of Jacksonville? Its Sept 25, 26 27th. It was the first quilt show I ever went to...last years. I saw all those beautiful quilts and came home and told my hubby I might as well quit now. But, I didn't!! It really was very inspiring seeing all those quilts in one place. I also enjoyed the vendors. I am going to try to put the link in here to the web site if anyone is interested. I am not a member of one of the Jacksonville quilds that sponsor it. I took Friday off work and will probable go Fri if I still get it off. Saturday if not. Would love to meet anyone that is going if we can arrange it.
