Yes - I know Geta is a member - that's me letting you know she is. I was responding the Lynn's comments of finding Geta's website. I'll get this forum stuff down yet. :P I have not tried her technique but I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!! Aren't her quilts wonderful?

This is a TQS member - GetaGrama from Romania. I too, am blown away by her trapunto quilts. I mailed her and she sent wonderful step by step instructions. It's great when we quilters share our skills. Do check out her website - she's done some beautiful quilts.

Loved all three websites. The twins are amazing and I checked out their website also. The shadow quilting is beautiful. A TQS member has some beautiful shadow quilts posted. I don't remember who it was though.

Interesting quilt things on the WEB 15 Aug 2008 10:07 #24169

When reading a online quilt newsletter I subscribe to, I found these two websites with interesting things. The first is a work in progress and only has Australian quilts right now but are supposed to be adding New Zealand and African quilts soon. Haven't had time to look at them all so not sure if any TQS members have quilts in this. The link is http://www.myplacequilts.com.

The second is a video of two sisters who do fabric "paintings" Very interesting. I wonder if they would share as guests some time. Just an idea. http://www.opb.org/programs/artbeat/videos/view/183-Lisa-Lori-Lubbesmeyer

Hope I have gotten these right. Ann
