Those folks in Australia really rock in the quilting world. I would LOVE to be in one of their guilds. We had a couple of ladies from the Australian embassy in my Virginia guild. They just have the creative gene turned way up high.

I just took the time (sort of my Artist's Date for the Artist's Way) to look at these quilts again. There are so many fabulous quilts here. I hope more of you will take the time to look at them (and if you click on them they will enlarge) What a fun show that must be. Beam me to Australia, Scotty. I would love to go. Ann

On another website that I read regularly this site was posted to show winning quilts in the Canberra Quilters Show and lo and behold I recognized a quilter -- Helen Godden (one of the three sisters from the blogs last March. I believe she was the one who brought and left the naughty kangaroo, Skippy) She has a number of entries that are winners and was the artist who contributed the top raffle prize.(which I would love to win it is fabulous) Maybe we could get her to teach the rest of us some of the techniques she used. Or maybe she could be a TQS show guest one of these times. Love her work.
