I would use my favorite graphics program, Adobe Illustrator, since I know it so well.
I have EQ7, but prefer drawing with Illustrator, as I have 20 yrs experience with it.
Do you have a pantograph to see the way it is drawn?

I can help you if you like, although I have never drawn a pantograph, it looks pretty easy with software.

I don't have a business of quilting other peoples quilts. I quilt for myself, family and charity quilts. I would like to draw pantos just for the challenge perhaps to designs something unique.

I can tell you that you need banner paper or you'll be investing in a lot of Scotch tape. I don't know about EQ but you should be able to use Corel Draw. Sorry I can't help more.
I do have a question-why do you want to draw your own? In the long run, I don't know if you'll save much money. I figure there are so many great designers out there, I'll keep doing what I do best-quilting client quilts.

I would like to draw my own panto designs. Can anyone give me the basics including repeats, interlocking and paper? Can you use a program like Corel Draw, Quilt Pro or Electric Quilt to design pantos. I have googled drawing pantos but have only found websites that sell ready made designs.
