Thanks Lorchan, that would be great if you can manage it.

Rosemary, as far as I know there are no plans of those traditional quilts to be part of the Harrogate Show. I'll try to get pictures from somebody who will go to London, and share them.

I go to the Harrogate Knitting & Stitching Show in November - yep they are great for spending money and seeing all sorts of fabric-y crafts :D Hope the quilts are part of this year's show in Harrogate too.

Oooh, that would have been an excellent show to visit and a good excuse for a trip up to London. Pity I can't go :(
Maybe in the autumn. Thanks for the reminder of visiting Twisted Thread's site.

This show is not specifically a quilting show, but I'm told that it's an excellent event for shopping, and very interesting if you are generally interested in anything sewing, thread, fabric, and craft related. I have never been, but this year would be a good year to go. One of the special exhibits will be 30+ traditional quilts. They are provided by a cross section of members of the traditional group of the British Quilt Guild. So, if you are anywhere near, go and have a look and do a little shopping at the same time.
