Lorna, I'm definitely aiming for Saturday. I hope you can make it and use it as a lovely day out.

I haven't been on line much as I am still waiting for BT to put a line to my house so I can have phone and broadband service. I am glad I saw this! According to Google maps it looks like 1 hr and 45 min drive from Brandon. I may just do that. Hubby will be coming in this Saturday for the week and leaving on the following Sunday morning. So not sure if I will come up on Saturday with him or Sunday without him. What day were you going to attend, Lorchen?

Just tell Dearly Befuddled that he'll be in charge of Little Miss. Alternative: Bring them! If you can't make it this time, Rosemary, we'll just have to find somewhere else to meet or wait for the next North Kyme event.

I'll have to see if I can get a pass from Little Miss & the Dearly Befuddled, I'm already planning on being away all day on Sat 8th for an Embroiderer's Guild Regional Day.

Although the Irish Channel is not as far I think I wouldn't make it either. Lots of photos Lorchen, it's the only answer. :D

I promise I'll tell you all about it and take a few pictures. I don't want you to get all out of breath and cold, swimming the Atlantic at this time of year. :)
Whew, good thing because I am not that strong a swimmer! :P

I'm right behind Barbara. Water wings might help!

I have had an email today from a quilter in North Kyme. They have another quilt exhibition on the 15th and 16th of October (quilts in the beautiful little local church and coffee in the village hall). I went to their last exhibition two years ago and had a wonderful time. It was the first time I met Rosemary. I hope she reads this (Hey, Rosemary, can you go? I'm intending to go on Saturday the 15th). I love, love, love these small exhibitions, and can't wait to see what the North Kyme quilters have been up to during the last two years. Can anybody else make it? North Kyme is in Lincolnshire.
