quiltingliz123 OFFLINE Posts: 1	You can also try Empress Mills which supplies PFD fabric. I've bought from there as well as Whaleys and both places are very good. Empress Mills very friendly! Do try dyeing your own fabric - it's great fun. I can recommend "Dyeing in plastic bags" by Helen Deighan.

I have saved them for future reference becasue I am going to Palma, Mallorca in a few days so my mind has wandered from fabric to packing and finding something which still fits me!! I will get back to the thoughts on dyeing eventually and will try to work out which fabric would be most suitable. Thanks again for all your input, Nan

Do beware of buying from places like Dharma Trading in the USA. They are excellent but our customs always want to take their cut which can add a considerable amount.

sengtser1 OFFLINE Posts: 62	Hello, Has anyone found a source of good quality PFD fabric for dyeing? I have a notion to try some dyeing but its a lot of effort so I wouldn't want to use a poor quality fabric. I know many of the American brands supply PFD cotton but I am happy to try and buy from here. I have found one in 'The Cottton Patch' site but am not sure about its thread count (78x78). Thanks, Nan
