We did have a TQS member attend the show in France. We are very excited to see the photographs that we will be sharing with everyone on TQS very soon.

Lorchen, that is a great site and I use it all the time.

Didn't get to Ste.Marie-aux-Mines this year. We had just returned from our 3 months in California and I just didn't have the energy for another trip. Went last year. It's a beautiful show in a gorgeous area.

I am off to help mount the quilts for our guild exhibition today.

Did anyone go to Ste.Marie-aux-Mines last month? We thought about driving down but didn't actually do it!! :(

It would be great to hear from others on the mainland Europe. We do like to take the cars for a run now and then and knowing where there are good LQS' gives us a destination!! :D

Good luck, Libbi! I would be really nice (and very interesting) to have more active international members. I've seen quilts made by Swiss quilters at various exhibitions in the UK and on the Continent, and they are awesome!

I searched for Swiss quilters using the search function and find that there are full paid members and some who use the free option. Unfortunately only a very few of the members add photos of themselves, their quilts, or other profile information. :( I encourage my fellow quilters in Switzerland to share their wonderful work with the TQS community. I know you're out there because my local quilt guild, Patchwork du Leman, has over 50 members and there are many other active guilds. The national quilt association is patCHquilt. Don't be shy to post in your native language. There are translation sites (Google Translate) that do a pretty good job. Hey, my French is pretty bad but I go to the meetings and activities and my fellow quilters are a pretty tolerant bunch. Quilting is a universal language! 8)
