I'm not exactly within walking distance of 'Midsumer', here North-East of Nottingham, just down the road from Sherwood Forest. Still waiting to run into Robin and his merry Men. :)

Hey Pam
Just looked on your profile and saw your quilt, its fabulous! was that the latest class at midsomer? I wanted to go to that one but missed it. I bought an overlocker book of hers and she was a hoot! I couldnt sew for laughing! was she funny in the flesh so to speak?

Pamela, Welcome to TQS.I love your Jenny Rayment piece on your profile. Its beautiful. It reminded me that I ought to get out the UFO I have based on her teaching and try and finish it. Pam in wet Berkshire.

Hello and welcome Pamela
Yep, I go to Midsomer, very regularly  In fact I might have even have bumped into you without knowing it!!! Anyway, its good to meet you and you will really enjoy the site.

Yep Amo and Ali, about time you made a journey to Midsomer, then we could meet up! there is a great pub up the road that does really good food, so we could be 'ladies who lunch' as well.
Best wishes

Hi Pamela, I'm up a bit from you, just south of Birmingham. I really must get down to Midsomer Quilting, it's not that far from here and would make a nice little trip out. Welcome to TQS, it's an amazing resource, and an absolute bargain at the price!

Hello Pamela and welcome!! :D

Lynn (lmcfood) is from your area and uses Midsomer, she gave me the link to them too  . I'm down and right a bit, just up from Poole.

Keep coming back and joining in, you'll soon work out a picture of where people are.

Hello out there! 07 Jul 2009 02:27 #36466

Recently signed up to TQS and amazed by all the info; I am still finding something new every time I log in! Just discovered all you other UK quilters.

Does anyone do classes at Midsomer Quilting? I am in North Somerset and would love to know where else there is nearby that runs some good workshops.

I promise to get my profile sorted and get a photo on once I work out how.
