I've known that Dutch site for a long time and used it a lot for Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. But it's not complete and some of the shops listed are disappointing.

I'm really looking for personal recommendations about shops in the Koblenz area. I may have to go there sometime later this year. I'm trying to sort out an absolute nightmare of paperwork relating to my mother's death last year. She didn't leave a will and the German authorities treat me like an unwanted alien who is trying to move the equilvalent of the US gold reserves out of the country when we are really talking about enough cash for a couple of decen holidays. Sigh....... So it would be nice if I could sweeten a necessary trip with a little retail therapy.

Good site this, checked out uk shops as not been to germany!!! However, let me know if you are going this way, somerset I mean, as the one on weston-super-mare is not what I would call a quilt shop, only has about 3 bolts of fabric and is more a craft shop selling odds and ends! So you would be disappointed if you went there!

That is a fabulous web site! We often pop over the Channel for a few days drive around. I have destinations as well as gardens too now!! :D :D :D

Try this site, it shows a lot of quilt shops in Germany and other surrounding countries.

I wish I had this list the first time we visited our Army son near Kaiserslatern. Had it on the second trip when he moved near the Chech border. Found a store and was so excited, when we got there it was closed for the day. Maybe next time.
