Hi, I am planning a Baltimore Album Quilt and I am wondering if anyone knows the meaning or history behind a circle made of interlocking rings (see attached pic). I have a book by Elly Sienkwicz that has a Dictionary of Symbols but that one is not covered and Google yeilded no results.
