Hi there, I have worked with Radiance a lot and I stabilize the whole piece using a very light fusible interfacing. You will need it for the quilting too later on. Have fun. I hope you share pictures.

I'm about to make my first venture into quilting with Radiance fabric as the background fabric. I've designed a Celtic Applique as well as a wreath with tiny vines, shamrocks and small flowers. My question... I'll be doing hand applique on the Radiance background. Do I need to stabilize the entire piece or just the areas where i'll be adding borders?
