Help!!!
Within the past few months I viewed a video about joining hexies by placing 6 pins vertically at each corner into a hexie grid that was placed on top of a portable ironing surface. To prep hexies, they were pressed every other side of the hexie toward the back. One hexie was dropped/aligned inside these first 6 pins, right side up. New pins were added to the hexie grid next to this one, and the new hexie was placed so that its folded edge fit over the extension of the first hexie. Elmer's School Glue was placed on this 'extension' and a mini-iron was used to fuse these pieces together. This continued throughout over/under placement of hexie extensions and folded edges.
I'm trying to remember/discover the link to where I viewed this video. Help!! I love the fact that you can then take the whole piece to the sewing machine to use invisible thread to stitch the pieces together. My carpal-tunnel prohibits me from hand work of EPP.
