absolutely. wash twice, in fact! And be sure to put flannel on the back so it all shrinks together.

Pre-wash and put in dryer so the shrinking will happen. My experience is that it will shrink more than once.

I prewash everything before I start piecing, so I definitely prewash flannel.

I need advice on pre-washing flannel fabric. I know flannel shrinks a lot so not sure what to do before piecing a flannel quilt. Need advice please?
