I just had a quick look through Jinny Beyer's 'The Quilter's Album of Patchwork Patterns' and there are several blocks associated with Pennsylvania. There's a Penn. Hex, Penn. Pineapple, Penn. Crossroads and one simply called Pennsylvania.

Is there such a thing as a true "official" quilt block for each state in the United States? I am looking for Pennsylvania and find several different designs. How can I find the true design or can I use anything labeled as such as the "official"?
