Bridget has been mentioning just this type of quilt on her blog, here is the last post about it community/my-profile/Bridget473
Work back through previous posts and you will find out how she set about it. And I am sure if you send here a message she will be willing to share her experiences/advice.

I'm in the UK, so the brands available are not necessarily the same. You should be looking for a water soluble paint (so hands can be easioly washed) that can be made permanent by ironing (put greaseproof paper between handprints and iron so you don't get any surplus paint on the plate of your iron.
This sounds like a real fun project.

I have offered to make a quilt with the kindarden class at the school where I work at for an auction. they want to do handprints. What kind of paint should I get for this without spending a lot of money.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Suzanne
