That must be some pretty serious explosion! Last year my EG group decided to make an embroidered patchwork Periodic Table for a challange entitled Chemistry. for silicon we decided to do a pair of bosums, and originally we were just going to use Barbie's. The arms, legs & head removed easily enough, but trying to cut into the body was sheer murder - or so she reported back, it was a right palaver and had us giggling to hear her tale of woe. In the end she took a mould of them and then filled it with silicone bath sealer, which we used instead.CIMG4701.JPGsecond inside row on the teal background to the left - look for the black lacy bra.

There are lots of silly visual jokes like this all through the piece we had great fun doing it!

From yahoo today - some of the random stuff they put out there when you visit the website.

Surprising things you can wash in your dishwasher . . .
Action figures and other small toys can ride in a mesh lingerie bag on the top rack (but don't wash Barbie or she'll have a horrible hair day).

Congratulations Vicky. I really enjoyed your article on Cindy's blog. So cool. 8)

Did those naked Barbie dolls have tatty hair? If so they were my daughters. All Barbie dolls ended up naked wit mussed up hair in our house. I think it was because the clothes were too difficult to get back on, because no matter how many different outfits we bought for Barbie she still ended up naked. When she got a little older she would replace Barbie's head with Kens'.
