I would starch your fabric very well before you cut out the pieces. Many bias edges have a tendancy get "wonkey" with lots of handling(especially of it's going to be bedsize) Use a thread like Masterpiece or SewFine, make sure your seam allowance is a perfect ¼". Also decide if you are going make the scalloped edge binding or the straight edge binding. Alex has a great tutoral on how to make the scalloped edge binding on one of the past shows.(This edge treatment can be a challenge if the quilt is not flat...ask me how I know.
Also you need a single fold binding strip..)
