Oh Marion...you are too funny but that thought occurred to me. Just have to live "not in the boonies" where it is an hour or so to a good quilt store. Not a little town shop. I did do the parchment and it worked fine. This wasn't a big project this time around. Thanks!

Or, you can cut off a large piece of your fusible web and peel the fusible part off the paper backing and use the paper backing in place of your Teflon sheet or parchment paper.

I am all ready to use my applique mat and now can't find it. I know it is here somewhere! Doesn't it drive you nuts when you can't find something? Anyway, is there anything else I can use that would serve the same purpose so that I can iron my design together, pick it up and then place it on my hanging? I hope someone can HELP! Thanks.
