I have a tutorial on my website for drafting these but you have to do a little reading. To simplify it all you need to know is the corner squares are 3 1/2" finished. The star points are 2 1/2" x 6" finished with a 45 degree triangle trimmed off each end to make a diamond, and the triangles on the sides of the block between the star points are 5" finished quarter-square triangles. The corners would be cut at 4" square, the star points from 3" strips and the 5" quarter-square triangles from 6 1/4" squares cut diagonally in both directions.

Vonna, if you have access to a copy machine you can just enlarge your 8" pattern by 150% to get a pattern for a 12" block.
Because of some distortion in copy machines, be sure to test your pattern (either by tracing on paper or by stitching a sample) to make sure it's going to work before you cut out the entire quilt!
If you know someone who has Electric Quilt software, maybe they can print out the pattern for you?
Good luck!

I am looking for a pattern and instructions to construct a 12 inch finished LeMoyne Star block. There are no lessons under Alex's classrom link and I can't find what I am looking for on the internet. I was hoping some could help me or help my in enlarging an 8" pattern. Thanks.
