For anyone who owns an iPhone there is a free app called QuiltRef that does the calculations.

I don't have time to search for it now, but this was addressed previously on the forum. Also, there are several good references to this on the internet, just search for set-in triangles. Lastly, this was addressed in the 2009 BOM Feathered Star January or February instructions.

I have made a quilt with blocks set on the diagonal. They are 4" blocks. How do I measure for the triangles at the edges and the for corners?
