Between the gold stars and the thin border strip, I think that was just the right touch to make the neutrals sparkle. Congratulations!

Woohoo! My next ex-UFO! I started this back in 2009. I enjoyed Alex's classroom where she talked about neutral fabrics so I got her book. I collected neutral fabrics on the shop hop that year in San Antonio. I got most of the top done that year. Last year finished the top and had it basted. Just finished the quilting and binding. Though before quilting I did unsew the inner border and replace it with the fabric that is there now. Before it was scrappy and blended too much and you couldn't even see it.
