There was a stupidly small amount left to do on the turned down petersham waistband, that need a little adjusting and unpicking, which put the brakes on this project (as well as the interruption of having to go & cook supper

) Still it is done now, and will hopefully be a useful everyday skirt for work.

) Izzy is being the greek goddess Hestia (of the Hearth & Home) and needs her chiton to be all orangy/red flame like - I've got a cunning plan, just hope it works. For some reason when DH asked if Hestia was the femail version of Heston (Blumenthal - amazing chef) Izzy got ever-so cross with us
