Ritzy...your top is beautiful !! Good luck with planning the quilting !....That's my hardest part ! :? Here's a pic
of the latest UFO finished. :D A little twister kit from Primitive Gatherings, it measures 13.5x15 in. I've used the
idea several times..always a surprise ! Now..on to the next one ! :D

Ritzy - Your top turned out gorgeous! Like others, I especially love the ribbon border! I'm not sure when I'll get back to mine....

Ver pretty, Ritzy. I love the way you did the final border. I wanted to finish mine too but that's not going to happen anytime soon.

It is not so much a 'his n her's' quilt as a 'hers n hers' quilt the frogs in the middle of the square in square blocks started out life as a pair of my summer culottes 8) and there is still traces of paper tissue stuck to the pocket pieces to prove it  (and no I don't have any photos of me wearing them, so you will just have to use your imagination  )

The funny thing is that DH thought that the dogrose side was 'loud' - until he saw the frogs & fishes

Well Rosemary you have the opportunity to have fun. Why not make it a his and hers quilt. The side you have done is lovely and pretty, change to plainer or less flowery fabrics for the other half?

Go on you can finish it :D

Rosemary, what on good earth is a Too Loud/Dogrose 1inch quilt?
Here is the only photo I have of it so farsee-quilts/quilt-gallery/ It shows half of the front & half of the back. Currently it is all pieced & sandwiched up and partly quilted, but the front has come up smaller than the back, but the quilting is designed to fit the back, so I am having to add a border to the front, and then see what happens size wise (By the way I started it BTQS, decided to make 2 6' x 6'6" tops and just put them together, and did not allow myself any fudge room like plain outer borders cos they were going to fit together, right!). My BOM 2009 is Dogrose 2.

Rosemary, that looks like a fun quilt! Having to add here and there to make it come out right actually adds charm to it and I am sure it will keep me cozy when I bring some sunshine out your way!
It should do - it is one of the thicker blankets from my Nan in the middle
