Thanks for the information. I'll probably be working on it for longer than I want to think about so maybe I'll usethe spray and then some light basting too. At least with the spray maybe I can get it flatter without worrying about puckers in the back.

ritzy OFFLINE Posts: 2963 Thank you received: 82	I use 505 on all of my quilts--machine and hand quilted. Haven't had any problems as long as I used cotton or wool batting. Didn't like the results with polyester batting.
