It also stretches more. I did a pinwheel quilt in flannel and it did fine, but I had someone else quilt it. By the time you get to that stage, it is heavy.

My sister works with flannel/or is it fleece? She finds she needs more than a 1/4" seam as it tends to fray more than our quilting cottons. Otherwise, go for it!

Is this easy to do? I have alot of flannel in outdoor patterns. Thought it might be good for a take along project when I visit my daughter. Thought a simple 4 patch would be good? Thanks for any advice!
