Hi Lucy, I have tried it It works but she needs to be real careful to butt up the ends (if not it will be a mess) in the beginning of the seam and put the pieces real close together (if not you will be able to take a real close look at the batting)!

does anyone know about if it is possible to paper piece a y seam on a machine. i know that it can be english paper pieced but a friend is trying to make a quilt with her own design and part of it has a y seam. any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you
