I agree with Connie and Norma. Alex uses Superior's MasterPiece in a matching color, but she does most of her applique by machine, using a Vari-Overlock stitch.

Could it be Edyta Sitar, you remember? In show 802 she mentions a color from Aurifil that she uses a lot. I don't have time to rewatch the show now, but in the info color 2370 is mentioned

Maybe that is an old "clip" of Alex, before she had a relationship with Superior Threads?

Do you know if Alex has a preferred colour of the Masterpiece thread that she uses for applique when she does not specifically match colours?

I had seen a clip of Alex Anderson in which she mentioned that she likes to use one of the Aurifil threads for her hand applique as it blended so well in to many colours of fabric. Can you rell me what that colour number would be?
