Go back and watch Becky Goldsmith's way of doing needle turn. She uses a toothpick to tuck the points under.

I did a needle turn applique piece on my KK quilt. I was distressed to find I could not get sharp points. It has been a long time since I appliqued anything can some one post tips on how to get sharp points on stars. I also found that my star wavered. I use freezer paper to make the shape but it still tended to waver.

Any help would be appreciated.

I guess I should keep my skills up to date.... hmmmm Just not quilting enough.
