This is a challenge for ourselves, not a swap? I'll have to think on it!

Oh my world, Susan. Did that song brought back a flood of memories. I know this is going to sound awful to most, but I never liked the Beatles, although there are a couple of songs that are ok. Now, let's back up 37 years, when I was in middle school, back in Mexico. In middle school, English is part of the program of studies. I hated it. In fact the first 2 years of middle school I got great grades in English thanks to a friend who would do the tests for me. We would bring the same brand and color of pen, I would fill my name and he would fill the answers. We were good, never got caught up. Then in the second half of the last year of middle school, a new and young teacher came on board and she made it fun to learn. One of the things we learned were songs and Yesterday was one of them. That got me interested in music in English, specially since John Travolta, and disco music became very popular around the time also. So I ended up paying to go to a private school to become an English teacher. Little did I know back then that one day I'd be living in the USA and English is now my primary language. Not that I've forgotten my beloved Spanish but my interaction is mainly with English speakers nowadays. That memory was hidden, until I saw the video.Thank you for sharing it!

This sounds interesting................I was wondering what I could do and I just had an idea so I'm in :D
Lois - you have my sympathy - I broke my wrist a few weeks ago when I slipped on a floor that I had just washed - I always said housework was bad for me. The cast is off now but I don't have full mobility yet - I am able to sew again now so that's good . My physiotherapist assures me all will be well in about 6 weeks so I am doing my exercises and hoping for the best. Hang in there Lois!

Hmmmmm, do I or don't I? I'm going to be very busy this year, again, with all of the quilt registrations for our show in September. And I also make and gather goodies to sell in our boutique and silent auction, to help finance my yearly pilgrimage to Houston Festival. So, the question is: Can I whip out an 8 1/2" x 11" quilt, while doing that. Perhaps. I'll try.

Lois, I'm so sorry you have a boo boo! Do take care if yourself and heal quickly!

Dawn,

Thanks Lois!

Annual trip for us with our kids and grandkids.

Also had opportunity to take an eco canopy tour while two grands and son in law took a zipline tour.

Take care - Barb
