Terrie, it's terrific to see you in such good shape. When they tell you to keep your mouth shut, you should be really proud. That means they will take all the responsibility themselves and you are free to do your own business.
The quilt will be fantastic.
Have a wonderful party

That'll be smashing, what a lovely gift for them. I love KFC fabrics and the latest ones I've bought are so soft, I could eat the designs

You're fine wearing black, you can wear anything nowadays. When I looked up what traditionally you should wear it said the mother of the groom should wear beige!! oh and keep your mouth shut. That bit is actually good advice, I had to bite my tongue once or twice but their choices and doing things their way made it a very special day. :D

Hey, Wendy! I'm going to wear a fascinator for the wedding too. I was wondering if black was okay, and then saw your picture.

The quilt will be set up with freezer-papered backs and set into a temporary scrapbooks. They guests will sign their names. one on each square and I'll put it together with other squares after the wedding. I'm doing it in Kaffe Fasset and batiks in purple/fucshia colourway.

Sorry, this may not be appropriate post for this topic.

I'm assuming finished, bound quilts for ourselves. Am I correct? The one I have in mind would end up being a Christmas gift for my sister.

Sounds good. But I have a son getting married on August 9th, and I'm making a memory quilt for them. Might just look on, but you know me - temptation never far. I just might jump on at the last minute. Are these going to be put together, or will they be individual, finshed & bound quits for ourselves?

Lois, so sorry to hear that you've hurt yourself.

Limbania, I am with you in not particularly being a Beetles fan, but I do like that song.

The only problem is deciding how many yesterday's to go back for inspiration :? :P

Fun to see them singing how they looked decades ago

I still am a Beatles fan. So sad there are only two of them left. :( And 'Yesterday' is one of their best songs.

Limbania what a monkey you were, you made me choke : how on earth did you get on teaching English? Did your partner in crime teach with you?

And I think that's the first time I've heard anyone say they don't like the Beatles. I was always a fan the songs are so easy to croon along to......oh I believe in yesterday mmmmmm

Loved the story, Limbania. Perhaps we'll learn a lot about each others Yesterday's through this challenge. This idea is getting better all the time.
